What a funny and strange insect...This shot is just perfect IMO, great details of the subject and the lovely curled leaf it is standing on with a nice blurred and dark background. The antennas must have been moving since they are not as sharp but it shows the bug is well alive and I like it.

Fantastic macro! What a wonderful expression on the insect. The way the antennae shoot out between the eyes with such symmetry gives the subject that startled look! The composition is excellent, with the bug perched on the diagonal leaf, though I find the brown part on the right a bit distracting. Thanks for a great picture!
