Melanargia galathea, Butterfly (TR: Benekli Beyaz Kelebek, ENG: Schachbrett Marbled White): Unfortunately I do not knnow the species. (Species identification was done by Ulla Kruys from Sweden, thanks Ulla). Photo shows an adult male. Food plants of this species are Graminae plants. A widespred butterfly species in Europe and Turkey.

Hello Mustafa,
Excellent shot of this Marbled White butterfly (Melanargia galathea). Very sharp details and nice natural colours. Looks very good against the dark background. Very fine composition too.
