Hallo John,
Prachtige heldere opname met erg mooi detail en een zeer goede compositie. Het lijkt er op dat dit een plekje is waar deze Reiger vaker zit. Heb je je flitser gebruikt voor deze opname, of had je zoveel geluk met het licht?

I like your perfectly composed and cropped shot so much as well as excellently selected DOF, sharpness and details of the picture. Colour palette, it seems to me, is unusual a bit buut very nice. Is it natural colour tone? Perfect done and TFS.

un heron au bout de cinq ou six photos,je vais etre jaloux car il fuit bien avant que j'ai le temps de les voir.je pense que celui-ci doit etre abitué aux hommes mais cela n'enleve rien a la reussite de cette photo.

Hello John,
Great capture of a free-flying Heron. Zoos can attract a lot of wildlife that is used to people and available for the nature photographer.
Fine sharpness, lighting and colours and it is unusual to capture the Heron from above.

Hi John, wild in the zoo eh? Judging from the logs I would say this is a favourite spot of his. Very nicely seen on your part, you caught him in his natural element. You shot it at 125 mm so you were pretty close for this shot by the looks of things. Very nice colour and detail on this guy.
