This is a super catch the freeze frame is perfect especially on the nice soft background. I also really enjoyed the .gif animation showing the kingfisher knocking it prey unconcious. :)

Hi Elroyie.
Excellent capture of this moment. DOF absolutly perfect, you can see all the drops of water from the struggling, the kingfisher stands out beautifully. Colour, lighting, detail, all spot on.
I would love to see a couple more of these photos, especially the one about 3rd in your GIF files where he brings his head down, water drops everywhere, catch light in the eye and a whole lot of action going on.

A truely magnificent shot and moment!
I really love the way you managed to freeze the entire action and those little drops of water comming from the fish are actually the tiny details that make this such a fantastic catch!
Other than that, the usual perfect DOF and super sharpness that really make this a splendor!
