[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Was only able to get close enough 15 inches to fire off a couple of shots. The wings were moving a bit, hence motion blur and the angle combined with shallow DOF didn't allow the best focus on the wings, but I like the colours and the shot enough to share it.
Hand held at 1/20 sec.

I'm glad you shared this one. The colors are nice, but what strikes me most is the outstanding exposure. The light and detail around the butterfly head is excellent. Wish you could have gotten all of antenna and wing. Very nice DOF and background.

Wow this is a stunning shot Jim. I like the tight crop and pov. The Butterfly is nice and sharp with good saturated colours, spot on focus with a nice DOF.The pov is excellent showing both the underside and topside of the wings.
