|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is an evening photograph of an Avocet flying across a still lagoon at Marshside RSPB Reserve. There was a lot of activity as week old chicks were about and the adults were on guard. When the breeze dropped and the birds flew low over the water they produced a lovely reflection. I did think about removing the banking in the corner but did not think it intruded enough and it showed where the bird flew from.|
Camera settings:- ISO 400, AV, Spot metering, IS on, Auto White Balance, 1.4 x converter, 530 mm focal length, Hand Held.

Simpatica foto, Peter, complimenti!
Ciao e grazie.
Nice taked & nice captured friend!
At all well done
Very nice in flight shot Peter.
The reflection of the bird is wonderful and together with the bird itself they make an almost perfect circle.
A small crop of top to loose the darker spot overthere and a small crop of the right side and the composition is perfect.
Thanks for sharing.
Best regards, Harry
Awesome capture with the reflection, reminds me a bit like a water ballet.
Wonderful image, I would agree with Harry on the crop from the top for the darker shadow of bank over in the top left, a little distracing. Your Avocet flying deserves all the attention.
