[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
If you look close, one can see that this dragonfly bends the front legs close to the head.
I've never notice this situation in other species.

Hi Luis,
Splendid shot of this dragonfly. Immaculate sharpness and fine focus. Good use of flash here and a nice pose captured. Excellent POV and DOF with a superb smooth BG. Very nicely composed and presented. Kudos.

Excelente composición y nitidez.

Hi Luis,
Fabulously detailed macro. Unusual PoV where you've concentrated more on the body than the wings. Awesome. TFS.
Cheers, Uma

bonjour luis
j'aime beaucoup ce point de vue legerement du dessous qui laisse apparaitre de bons details du corps tout en gardant une vue sur la tête et l'abdomen.
bien vu pour la netteté aussi.

That's a wonderful one, Luis,
I like the sharpness and the pose so much.
Also a perfect soft BG, thanks and greetings

Excellent dragonfly photo! Exposure is outstanding. Great details, especially of the eye. DOF is very good and you have nice POV. I noticed the front legs habit today while I was photographing the Widow Skimmer dragonfly.

Wonderful catch of this Dragonfly Luis, a lovely POV and I like the blur wing movement which contrast with the pristine sharp body. Great light and colours, excellent.

Hi Luis

Apparently i've missed this splendid photo from you...sorry.
This is a terrific macro, with impeccably clear and sharp details on the chaser's body and head. I especially like all of those visible little hairs...they really add a lot to the quality of the shot.
The colors here are also an important element - vibrant and beautiful, they make the dragonfly stand out well from the otherwise outstanding and uniform BG.
The side POV is great, the DOF is well managed and the composition is also charming.

Bravo and TFS

Hola Luis,
Excelente toma, me encanta el relleno del flash que no se nota mucho, la nitidez de la imagen es increible y los colores bien captados.

Dear Luis

Thanks for pointing out the odd position of the legs, and I add your photo to my group "Nature's Oddities"

It is a very good macro with a perfect depth of field, sharp details and natural colors

Thanks for sharing
