[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
During the Easter holliday I was visiting my parents and they had lots of squirrels visiting every morning so I had lots of targets to try my new camera on (I will post one for the near misses theme also :-)). Sadly enough I noticed that it is extremely difficult to take a sharp picture with the camera. I will take it to the store tomorrow and see what they say (it seems to be the usual problem with a slightly off focusing). This picture though, is one of the pictures that became quite sharp.

As I will be posting a couple of squirrel photos the comming days I thought that I should share a couple of funny (true) stories about squirrels. I begin with the first one now.

During the mid 70s when I was a tiny dot on earth my parents had a dog. More precisely a border collie. She hated squirrels. Really hated them and it might have something to do with the summer when there was a very teasing little squirrel living close by. He/she loved to sit in the pine in our garden and tease the dog. When the dog came too close the squirrel grabed a pine cone, lined up and dropped the cone in the dog's head. This of course was followed by very angry barking, jumping and general show of displeasure, and probably a secon pine cone in the head and so on...

This guy seems to question why I stand there with a big camera pointing at him. I believe I can see an acusing frown on his face :-)

Nice image and what a great pose! Would have been perfect if the end hairs on the tail were not cut off.

Hehe :) Funny title, and a very sweet little fellow :)

Very nice detailed capture and good pose, the light on the tail is very nice, a little too closely cropped on the tail though.

Yeas I'm looking at You :)
Very cute.
Good composition (except cutting tail) and DOF.
Nice shot.

Superbe photo Urban, dommage que la queue soit coupée en bas mais sinon très réussi.
bravo !
Nico.

Good shot, great pose. The light could have been better on its face.
Well done.
TFS.

Crop is a little too tight at the bottom, but this is a fantastic picture! Razorsharp details, superb colors, great pose. POV & DOF are extremely good. TFS!
