[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I'd been photographing the rabbits here before, and knew that they were quite used to humans wandering around the area. This meant that once they had bolted for cover, they would be out again enjoying the warm spring sunshine within a few short minutes.

I managed to wriggle into a gorse bush and knelt there waiting for them, sure enough, within a few minutes the rabbits began to reappear, but every time the camera fired they scattered and ran for cover. For the next hour or so that was the pattern, take a shot, wait a few minutes for them to settle down again and take another shot. Eventually I had several shots of rabbits doing nothing, and decided to wait until "something" happened. This shot was the result when a young rabbit came over to greet an older one.

Eventually I wriggled out of the thorny gorse bush that had been hiding me and tried to get some feeling back into my legs after kneeling down so long motionless.

Hi Miles,
this is a great moment with perfect DOF you've caught here, but i'm sure i've seen it before?! Well worth all that hiding though, and Corfe's not a bad place to do it either!
Paul

Hi
Perfect compo, great colours, perfect sharpness.
One technical problem: the fur looks very pixelated.
Great capture

Patience gets rewarded. Cute moment. Good exposure and sharpness. Nice blurry background. You must be very happy with your Sigma 50-500mm.
