What beautiful detail and colours your damselfly has. I think your right about the flash taking away detail and even colour. Excellent DOF.

This one is very beautiful. Perfect colors and intricate markings on wings are clearly seen. On the spot focus. TFS this brilliant image.
Fine capture of the Copper Demoiselle with excellent sharpness and the body set in a pleasing diagonal composition. Good lighting and colour.
TFS and best wishes,

Wonderful shot of this Damselfly in all its glory. The wings look majestic and detailed. Very sharp image with lovely colours and fine focus. Excellent POV to portray it and a precise DOF here. It stands out well against the BG and you have captured a superb pose. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

Great capture. His colors seem irridescent in the subdued lighting. The tips of the ferns look like frost. Excellent sharp closeup. Reid

I agree with you regarding the use of flash, Felipe.
Apparently, this marvellous capture of a damselfly without the use of flash is rich in colours and details.
Well done and thanks for sharing the image.

Hi my friends
I know i've missed many of your lovely postings lately, too, but i'm hoping to be back to TN in a couple of weeks :)
Until then, i want to congratulate you on this nice captuer - a species that i am still to see and picture.
Very nice side POV and excellent management of the DOF.
Take care and TFS

Utterly stunning! The only thing I would change is to remove the white area in the background at the top near the middle. A natural history purist would leave it there, but others would discreetly get rid. :)
