Cool! Looks like he's coming for you -- and he doesn't look happy. In fact, it looks like he's snarling, with fangs! Or I suppose he could be performing a soft-shoe routine and just has that snarly kind of face. In any case, great capture. Looks very smooth for ISO 1600. Great DOF and detail.

This is an excellent shot worthy of many more points! The rotated composition is outstanding. Details on the wasp are exceptional. I love the pose. Perfect exposure and very good colors.

Hello Gabi,
Great shot you are showing us here.
Excellent work on not using flash because it does look very natural this way.
Like the upside down rotation very much as well because in this situation it looks like the defender does stand up right to defend the nest.
Colors and details are wonderful and sharpnes, although you did use ISO speed rating of 1600, is excellent.

a premiere vu c'est la même espece que celle que j'ai publiée toute a l'heure et effectivement il ne faut pas trop jouer avec les guêpes,même si celle-ci n'a pas la retutation d'etre aggressive enver l'humain.
bonne photo conte tenu des difficultés enumerées dans la note.
