|The largest Coucal of the region, this species most resembles the Burchell's Coucal but it has a longer, broader and floppier tail which, like the head, is confusion with other imm. Coucals and its long tail is barred black and brown. Habitat : Marshlands, thick reedbeds and adjoining bush. Commonn is the swampy region of nothern Botswana.|

Love the detail you show in the plumage. All fluffy on the chest and sleek on the bottom part of the wing. Lovely saturated colours, crisp, clear and sharp. :-)
