[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Prairie Falcon

This Prairie Falcon just caught his dinner. If you look closely you can see it tucked in around the Falcons feet. The Falcon just took off from his rocky perch below him. He must have already captured his dinner and was deciding on where to eat it.

Hello Janice,
It is always nice to see situations like this in the wild!
Action is well captured, and presented in this fine composition...
Good colours and details!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Tante grazie per il tuo commento alla mia foto, le tue foto di natura sono anche esse molto belle.
Sopratutto i paesaggi della tua splendida terra cosi' ricca di montagne foreste e laghi, stupendi.

Janice, my dear neighbour,
It's the "baby" season. It's taking the snack "home".
Lovely image of the eagle with the wings spread out like that. You have become quite an artist.
Best regards,
Mario.
P.S. Our furnace has been working for the last two days.
It's COLD.

Hi Janice. You did well to get this clarity of the bird in flight. The blue sky has some slight noise the same as i get quite often, unsure how to fix it. Good cropping. Murray.

Great capture, very good POV, shrap and beautyfull colors.
Bravo
Marie

That is an extremely short lens to have caught such a great picture with! I've tried with a 200-500mm lens to get pictures of a "working" falcon and have still only gotten specks in the picture. With them being able to see their prey 6 miles out, and their speed being so fast - they are extremely hard birds to photograph. My hats off to you!
