What a wonderful backlighted snail image this is........Great!!!
Technically flawless shot with perfect sharpness, clarity, composition with the diagonall line of the snail and reeed, and lighting.
Due to the lovely backlighting all details in the snail are wonderfully visible.
I also love the little twinkle.
Excellent work.

This is simle beautiful capture. The diagonal composition is amazing. Even though you were on darker side, you have managed good exposure. The light throuh snail's body looks amazing and specially the twinkal :D.

hello anil,

this is the best shot of snail i have seen here,
its aesthetics are very nice, the reflection of light on the shell has been captured beautifully from a sutable angle,
the dark bg makes the snail and the wood stand out well in the image, excellnt lighting, sharp image with good details, well composed shot, excellent point of view, very nice faming,

I wanted to comment on this a long time back but some how could not make time to visit TN. This is a superb picture with wonderful details and colors. The sun glare is special. The lighting on the snail and the translucent body make this an wonderful picture to watch.

Anil, Excellent picture. Both the sparkle and the shadow lighting are brilliant. For a moment I thought that you got the translucent body in the picture with the back lighting. The picture is amazingly clear and the background is superb.

This is a very beautiful picture the angle of the stick displaying your subject is very nice and the details are pin sharp. I reall like how the light moves through the semi-transparent snail with that extra starburst light on the top of the shell. Well done. :)

It is not an every day phenomenon. First of all, snails rarely twinkle, so when they actually do, they need Anil to capture them.

Excellent shot! I love the twinkle and the shallow pov with the greenish colours of the bg. The backlit body looks charming. Sharply focussed and well composed. Thanks for sharing.
