Hello Tony,
What a wonderful land/sea/skyscape image as a great gift to Howard and Mary you are showing us here.
I really am amazed by the beauty of this stunning shot with so many great details and perfect composition.
Most wonderful light, plant life in the foreground, wich is leading the eye wonderfully in to the scene, misty mood in between the cliffs, soft clouds in the sky and color contrast.
Excellent work and a real joy to look at.
Thanks for sharing and from the Netherlands, I do wish you and yours a wonderful weekend also.
Best wishes,
Harry

Hi Tony,

A spectacular seascape. I love the angle from which you shot this. It is framed beautifully by the mountain, the sloping hill and the tall bush. The water looks so gentle as it touches the shore. Colors are magnificent and the white fluffy clouds are a bonus. Just beautiful.

This is a fabulous seascape Tony. What a view, the composition couldn't be any bettery. I like your inclusion of the vegetation in the foreground. Magical.

Hi Tony,
A beautiful dedication to a very good photographer Mr. Howard. I like the composition a lot with nice soft colors. Excellent work. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hi Tony,
Seems we have posted similar shots today.
A very nice view of the coastline near Piha.
We could use some of your surf lifeguards down here ... but its so dangerous here someone might even have to save them!
Beautiful view.
Cheers,Steve

Hello Tony,
First, I think that this is a very nice dedication to our friend Howard. Second, I really like this vaporous sky with beautiful pastel tones of colors, nice POV and composition. As usual, this is a different and beautiful landscape. This is very well done. Thanks,
Claudine

Hello Toney lovely location fine sharpness and good compo light and exposure look great tfs rgds Necip.

Incredible panorama. So many interesting components from the lone palm tree to the lines of waves approaching the shore. Very well done.

TFS!

I like your composition Ho, with the angled hillside and the headland jutting into the see. There is nice sharp foreground interest and a deep vista. This is an image that would have benefitted from a graduated ND filter to even out the exposure. I suspect that when you increased the contrast and/or levels to enhance the foreground, it also had the effect of overexposing the mid ground and sky. I find that when the sky becomes that pale aqua color it is most often due to enhancing. Adjustment layers would have helped... or taking bracketed shots and merging them via computer.

Hello Tony

Just marking the post for now

Rob

Hello Tony,
It is interesting when you include some more vegetation that usual, here the plants help creating this great feeling of depth!
As usual a well composed seaside view of NZ...
I like to see the South Pacific washing the shores!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Tony,
I am sure that Howard and Mary will love to look at this photo for a long time. The view is breathtaking. All advise on the exposure has already been given by Evelynn, and I am sure that grad filters are on the top of your list to buy. The composition is very good, with a strong FG and good leadlines to the cliff.

Hi Tony,

Thats a nice POV from Piha beach with the Lion Rock. Is the sea overthere really so dangerous just what LordPotty said? When I was there, I make only my feets wet (-: . A very nice sea/landscape Tony. Natural colors. POV and BG are good. Regards and TFS bob

Ohhhh... What a beautiful seascape capture Tony! The sky is fantastic, the color of the green bushes in the foreground is beautiful. Also a nice contrast to the sky, and the lone tree on the horizon is perfect. Great job.
