Hi Emma,
well this is about as near to what my experience of Scottish weather and it's surroundings is as i have seen here on TN! The play of light on the landscape is perfect and demostrates the changeabilty of the light and conditions in this part of the world. Excellent POV and composition too.
My heartfelt wishes that get you better quickly and completely. Your health is much more important than TN and you should not concern yourself with such matters!
tfs and have a great weekend.

Hi Emma,
Good panoramic composition and a nice dramatic shot - yep, that's more like Scottish weather I've experienced!! Tricky to keep the detail in the land and not lose those cloud details, you've done well.
More importantly, sorry to hear you're not well - take care and I'm sure I echo all TN in wishing you a speedy recovery.
All the best,
Doug

Glad to see that you had enough energy for this posting!
And we all do wish you a speedy recovery, Emma!
As to the image: I love the mood I see here: the heavy skies are grand and the colours and textures are superb

Stunning! Wonderful bright colours. Very good realization.
Best wishes,

Hello Emma,
I think this is an excellent offering and the UE works well for this one. The WA panorama has much to offer the eye as it moves through the frame..
A dark & somber mood here.
On a positive note, I wish you all the best in whatever you are facing.
I'll be pulling for you.

HI Emma,
bad weather, but a wonderful atmosphere, so fresh, so silent, so peaceful, I like it, thanks

Hi Emma
This is a beautiful shot - I love the liquid light you have captured. The composition is excellent and show the 'spirit' of scotland

I as well Emma...and I am yet still young. I think I lost my true heart when forced to leave the wilderness due to health. God speed and hope that your pictures are as much to all as they mean to me. Very special gifts from your eyes AND your heart.
Sincerely

Hi Emma,
This one came out really good. I am still not sure what to do with mine, but leaving as is might be the best option as well. I like the wide angle view and the position of the light reflection on the river.
Sorry to read that you are still fighting your health. I can hardly feel what you feel. My only advise is to call in sick and take some time for yourself. Rest and low stress is most of the time the best healing methode.

Golly, I am so sorry to hear that you are ailing. Put your energies into getting well. It is odd that both you and Niek are not feeling up to par right now and both posted rather dark images today. I'll be watching for something a bit brighter soon hoping that it means your spirit and health are improving!
Take care

Hello Emma,
I had to look several time at this picture and every time I saw something new on it. If the first impression was that the picture was a little bit dark, I understood with time why you hold it like that. I saw all this fine colours in the background as a subtle contrast. Also the light on the river is just surreal. And the clouds are adding this impression of mystery. Really well done

Hello Emma,
Like it very much...
Once again the atmosphere is there due to this outstanding light...
What I do like the most is the presence of haze in the background generating mysteriously the meandering river...
Great work!

Hello Emma,
I like how the light reflects off the river as it is curving through the landscape!
Good dynamics in the composition...
This is a proof that bad weather doesn't need to mean bad photographs!
