|Cimbar Valley and Mother' flowers:|
I dont know these beautiful flowers' scientific name. But a villager said me "anne çiçeği [TR]", with meaning "mother's flower" in English.
Today (one week later from this shot) I saw many group these flowers same area. Many of them on the photo were alive. After posting, I learn its scientific and vernacular names, namely Colchicum autumnale - Güz Çiğdemi [TR], Autumn Crocus [EN].
They were flowered in Cimbar Valley on 27th August. I saw several groups of these flowers in same valley. But I didn't meet their leaves.
Cimbar Vadisi (Valley) is located in Aladağlar Mts between Pınarbaşı and Demirkazık villages. This valley is shaped essentially in a george.
This is first big george laying into Aladağlar Mts. Nation Park. Second valley is Narpuz Valley and third important george or valley is Emli Valley. Most tourists from European countries prefer them for trekking and camping.
Cimbar Valley is used for rock climbing. Turkish ministry about sports select it for pilot rock climbing area. Sportmen from many countries use actively it.

These are Colchicum - known as Autmun Crocus in Enland (though they are not related to crocus - the flowers just look similar). I do not know which species as there are quite a few - over 60. They are native to West Asia and the Mediterranean Basin.
Lovely shot showing the species to advantage. The colours are reallg good.
Looks like the flowers are directly emerging from earth. Nice shot with good details and colors. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Very beautiful composition showing these pretty Autumn Crocuses, popular in gardens over here. I love the colours, the details are sharp and I like the natural background.
Many thanks, Ulla
