|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is a photo of the eye of an American Alligator. I thought it made for a much more unique shot than the ones I took of the full alligator. Afterall, they are such an odd shape to fit into a photo frame that there's only so much you can do with them. I like the detail I was able to get on him this way though!|

Wow, super closeup and I agree that the eye makes a wonderful subject. What I really like is the part of the face you can see underwater. Great clarity and detail in this image. DoF is spot on and works so well to isolate that eye. I never would have known how almost feline the gator's eye is, never had the opportunity to see one in this detail.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Wow, Steph, perfect focus on the eye. They are the strangest creatures - all over the southern part of Georgia and coastal sections too. Cool shot!
