[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
we ahd seen many butterflies on this day. starting with Tawny coster Matting and while coming back we saw this Crab spider eating this butterfly. Badluck. This we call nature's balancing. One has to eat to live. Carb spider was hiding below the flower. when this butterfly came to suck the nector, it grabbed it, like Ambush !!. My friends were taking taking the butterfly picture, without noticing it caught by the spider. Later when i moved close, it slowly came up with the prey. later we came to see the drama of life.

hi chiks,
good picture,

Hi Satish,
such moments are very impressive - poor butterfly, but that's life. Good catch, thanks and greetings

Satish, You are right about how life hangs in delicate balance in nature. We did notice this butterfly sitting beautifully on the Lantana flower. Only when we realized that the butterfly is not moving for some time did we realize that the butterfly is actually dead is a victim to the crafty Crab Spider. Beautifully captured by you.
