This is another beautiful flower, unattended, uncared and unnoticed. These small plants were everywhere on the sea beach in thick groups and they were in bloom with these beautiful cream and yellow coloured flowers. They really looked like stars among the green vegetation. Very small but charming and I must admit they were difficult to shoot because the petals were getting OE. I could not understand the reason, maybe I got my setting wrong. I had to go back to that place 3/4 times to attempt with different permutations. Anyway I could manage to get a few decent ones and this is one of them. The day was cloudy and the place was also a bit unclean (you know how some places in India are) but the sight of these lovely flowers was enough to pep me up to persevere till I got it right. Hope everyone likes it as you have my earlier two flower posts. I am trying to be different here with my subjects though there are a lot many butterfly shots lined up.

Hi Sumon,
I've been trying to work out what this flower might be.
The shape and the thick stems and leaves almost suggest a squash or gourd of some kind, but then it could be anything.
The leaves also look like a datura although the flower isn't quite the right shape.
Very interesting one ... has me puzzled.
A very nice capture anyway.

You can indeed find beauty in anyplace...and some days at any time. I know because I believe we share that capability. And as to butterflies...yes...but add flowers then to your list. Many times simple is indeed better...

First of all thanks for taking interest in flowers too, which is my favourite subject.
