Magnifique macro avec un sujet d'une netteté extraordinaire.

Hi Peter

Another wonderful macro shot from you and yet another terrific butterfly presentation!
The amount of details contained in this photo is simply incredible and i love all that hairy textures on the head, body and wings of this Alpine Heath.
The DOF that you used here did great to keep the entire subject in focus; the sode POV is always a splendid angle for presenting such a subject while the exposure here is great and gave your photo all these wonderful colors and tones.
The composition is probably the only part of the picture that is not that great, mostly due o the flower from teh upper-left corner, which is rather distracting...but i guess we can't choose where we find our subject, right?:)
Anyway, wonderful work overall.

Bravo and TFS

hallo Peter,
Perfektes Bild des Alpen-Heufalters. Jedes Detail ist ersichtlich, super Macro-Werk. In Italien bist Du einer Vielfalt von Schmetterlingen begegnet. Ich vermisse eigentlich noch die Erebias.
Liebe Grüsse

Hi Peter.
I have never seen the better quality picture of the butterfly/ Its terrific and outstanding. Reproduction of all features of the butterfly is fantastic and the best. I mean texture, sharpness, colours, etc. POV and shooting distance are amazing. Framing of the image, a rather small parts of fire flowers and pleasant green BG are superb too. True masterpiece. My congratulations and pt.

Superb shot!!
A beautiful marvellous species which I had never seen, and I love it!
I wonder if these species are in some way relatives to the metalmarks, but they are clearly of Nymphalidae family.
Magnificent job.
