Finally! After two weeks of just work, work, work, I went to my favorite walking place, and was rewarded.
Although it was sunshiny noon, I managed to use the unfavourable light to make some cute photos.

Class: Insecta
Order: Lepidoptera
(unranked) Rhopalocera
Superfamily: Papilionoidea
Family: Pieridae
Subfamily: Coliadinae
Genus: Colias

I'm not really sure which Colias or Yellow this is, but I'll asume that its Colias croceus.
It's late oktober and this is the last generation before the winter.

Hello Tanja,
I think it is Colias croceus. The light makes the wings 'translucent' so that the upperside wing pattern can be 'seen'. Beautiful bright light and ... no over-exposure! Pretty good focus and nice details.
Best wishes, Peter

Beautiful, Tanja. Great lighting on this baby. The flower adds a welcome splash of color, too. I wish the bg had just a bit more blur, though. Maybe in PP?

hallo Tanja,
Lovely picture full of light! Amazing close-up, seeing the out- and inside through the effect of the sunshine. Bravo
Best regards
Anne

Muchas Colias últimamente, hay que aprovechar que pronto ya no las veremos ... Precioso contraluz y con unos lindos colores.
Saludos Tanja.

Hi Tanja.
Blameless picture of this amazing butterfly. I like backlight so much. It creates a strong esthetic impression. The sharpness and details of the butterfly are simply unbelievable. Flower and pictorial BG are looked so perfectly. My congratulations and TFS.
Alexei.
