I was not sure on this early photo shoot if I was ever going to see the rising sun as there seemed no break in the heavy dark clouds but luckly enough just at sunrise there was a break and the sun put on quite a display. It looked like the sky was on fire and with the angry sea made for a dramatic capture that morning.

Thanks for looking..

That's an amazing shot...something I would hang on my wall without a doubt!

Wow this is amazing.

Excellent photographery.........

Hi Stephen.
This is stunning. What an amazing capture of all the elements together drawing the eye in.
Beautiful use of slower shutter speed in the foreground over the rocks.
Exposure, colours, detail, all spot on.
You say Lee Filter System, may I ask what that is?
Absolutly beautiful,

Kathleen

Incredible shot! Dramatic almost seems like an understatement - such an awe-inspiring mood and lighting here, brilliant work.

Bonjour Emerson, super cette scène de bord de mer agitée, mais je ne comprend pas comment il est possible d'avoir un effet de pose longue au premier plan et d'instantané un peu plus loin au large!! Nevertheless, it's a very nice shot of landscape ; Best regards, Didier.

Wow! Really, I wonder how you do that. ..This looks like a painting; this is amazing with superb texture, details, exposure and mood. Colors are really stunning; this is superb, simply superb! :)!

Hi Steve,
I'm glad that you wrote the extra note on your steps to creating this stunner. It gives the extra inside one can learn from. Especially the placement of the filters and the timing came in handy for me. I really love the color contrast between the warm sunlight and the cool blue in the wave. The cascading water of the rocks does do magic to the photo. My only minor dislike is the dark blue color in the darker rock formation. It somehow looks a bit strange.

Niek
