[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken with the camera aimed to the west, as you see the result was a Reversed Trails of the stars.
This picture illustrates the fact that earth is rotating and that the north and south are on earth rotation pole, in this way the north star is always in the same place and the other stars are as if rotating arounf the earth.
In this picture you can see how the direction of rotation is changing when we are looking to the east or to the west.
I hope I succeeded to explain this phenomenon with my own vocabulary ... :-)

Some technical details:
I used for this picture my film camera Canon EOS 33 with Fuji 200 SUPERIA, I used relaese cable and a tripod of course.
Time of exposure was about 7 Hrs with F6.3.
I achieved the light behind this rock (3.5 meters high) with the help of a tiny bonfire.

perfect sharpness, vivid colour and so much details

Hello Elroyie
This is very interesting indeed and not something I knew at all..you have taken a fantastic image and the use of the 7 hour exposure has worked superbly to display the phenomenon. I really like the idea of using the rock as a foreground and the fire to highlight this.
Brilliant Work and many thanks for sharing this one.
Best Regards
