I really like the lead in line from the draining water.(Have the bigger rocks been put there to prevent erosion or carried down naturally?)...The rest is exemplary and to a standard from which we have come to expect from your goodself!!..The soaking was worth it from our perspective!!

Wonderfully romantic, captive, exciting, appeasing, amazing or... altogether! I simply love it. The overall atmosphere is emotional, the blurred effect of the water is delicate
and the colors and the sharpness are superb!
A wonderful landscape picture, presented by the master of the kind!

Nobody does this as good as you Paul..Even though we seem to have an abundance of Pauls:-) This is a fine shot and well worth it with the price of the lens eh? With your creative mind I find it hard to believe you could go wring...Well thought and shot!

Hello my friend :)
I've been very busy and involved with some projects lately and this sacrificed my TN time pretty much for this week. It looks as if it might be the same for the next week as well, but i should be back after that. Until then, sorry if i don't get a chance to critique all your wonderful posts. :(
However, i made a bit of time this night and dropped by to see what you (and some other few favorite members of mine) have been up to lately.
So i see it was not only me who had a bad weather this weekend :) I too managed to get out a little today, but what started out as a beautiful blue sky day, rapidly turned into a flat grey one and pretty much ruined my ideas of landscapes...at least you only got part of that :)
You did great to take a chance and even if you had a pay a price, you came back with this wonderful shot! And what a treat it is!
It's actually quite an original idea - a stream on the coast as it flows to the vast waters of the ocean and i find it terrific!
The complementing blue sky - with all the splendid clouds - is definitely the peace of glory you deserved this day and it looks smashing in this composition.
But actually, what i love the most here is the fine mosaic created by the very small rocks on the beach: all those little marbles, beautifully colors and smoothed by the water make the very best FG! A true pleasure for my eyes :)
Cheers and TFS

A new addition to my favourites theme :)

Wow Paul, this one is fantastic. I love it! This shows perfect use of that lens. We'll be going down the Oregon/California coast in a couple of weeks. I am going to have to practice with my 10-20mm lens. You are an inspiration.

Good point of view, low with strong foreground interest...
Fine details in the rocks and a very attractive autumn sky!

what a wonderful shot. the weather here yesterday was quite reasonable until late in the afternoon. today is not even worth the thought!
I love the colours in the shot, and the long exposure. they work really well with the composition. Great use of the WA lens to pull in that bottom rocks in brown and grey to balance the composition.
Very nicely done and TFS

What an amazing composition! I like when you chose these low point of views. Amazing different blue-nuances and wonderful stones in the front. Just one thing I don't like so much, is when the water has this "milky" aspect.

Lucky you, to have such a great break in the nasty weather. For me it has been a mis for several week. I do hope a break will come soon.
I like the great details you captured in the rocks and the motion in the stream. It really takes my eyes on a journey toward the bay and cliff. The strange blue sky with its wonderfully colored clouds is certainly creating a stunning sight.

You have a lot of nice coastal shots!
Here I like your low POV very much, following the stream to the sea.
Very fine clouds, nice texture in the sand, and a fantastic feeling of depth.
Best regards, Jon :-)

Wow - brilliant shot (oops, just mistyped the "o" as an "i" - could have been bad), you really do have a great eye for a shot, and have made the most of the light fantastically. I have to say, the foreground really makes this work - it's very Joe Cornish and I love his work - and yours too. Fantastic. Cheers, Doug
