What a unique capture. I've never heard of this type of bird. Gee, I'd like some for around here, especially given my allergy to them!

Details are fabulous, composion-wise, it is near perfect, and the moment is terrific. The pose is so typical, but what makes it stand out is the capture of the bee.

good picture .......Bee eater with a Bee.!!!
Nice compo. but some how, this low angle doesn't give nice POV, i suppose. you saty lond distance use long tele, andfrom below, you get to see fairly good perspective. where as if you go near, and below bird, you loose perspective. give it a try once.

A bee-eater caught in action, Smitha. I have seen a lot of these birds around here but never with a bee in their beaks.
The capture from the rear shows the bird's plumage to great advantage. The focus on the eye too is very sharp.

Your choice of aperture here is superb with the reverse view of the bee eater opposed to a front view of him..the pov is superb and the sharpness is very good..I really like this a lot.

Everything is superb about this shot of a Little Green Bee-eater: the sharpness, pose, Pov, composition, colours and sky BG. What is more this is the first time I have seen a bee-eater with an actual bee in its beak.

I have had a good look at your gallery and I must say that it is difficult to pick any one photo to critique as they all look excellent to me.This photo caught my eye straight away because my favorite colours are present in it,those being yellow and green.I have never before now have seen one of these birds but let me tell you that it is an attractive animal and one I would like to see for real.You have excellent colour and detail in this shot with just a little softness in the focus.An excellent overall image just the same and I thank you for showing this lovely creature to us all. Hello Smtha, a very fine shot of this lovely Bee=eater. I love the space you have given around the bird. The Bee-eater has good depth oc colours and nice and sharp with his dinneer in his beak. Lovely portrait and profile and a lovely composition.

This image have done justice to the name of the bird. Excellent sharpness and details right down to the bee. The diagonal branch make very nice perspective against clear sky. I like the plumage of this colorful bird shot from the back showing the signature tail here.
