Hi Gerard,
A wonderful photo of this stunning area. Looking at the short shades, it seems that you took this photo with rather bright light. But you still managed to get superb control over the exposure. Making sure that the shaded areas still have plenty of details. The different layers and shapes do create a wonderful sight and a lot of depth.

I see you've been to Bryce Canyon too. My wife Rosie and I were there in 2000 and loved it.
Your photo is wonderful, you did an excellent job of capturing this place in all it's splendor and beauty.

I love rocks and these are so interesting and colourful to look at. I like the angle you captured this scene in showing the shadows from the rock. Looks like a great place to explore.
