Fireworks for the new year.
Some crystals of Copper sulfate are laid out on a slide of microscope and put in solution in distilled water, after dilution the solution is put to evaporate. When the crystals are reconstituted, the blade is placed under the microscope and is observed in polarized light. The photographs are obtained from Nikon Coolpix 5000 placed on the photo tube of the microscope Zeiss ( Standard Universal). I will present to you a serie of photographs obtained from various crystals put in solution. I retained those which evoke particular forms (personage, flowers, animals...). ISO 100, light source Tungsten, enlargement between 50 and 200. I hope that you will like . Sincerely, Didier

Hi Didier.
Nice New Year's theme art picture. It creates a true holiday mood. Amazing combination of "crystal" sharpness and cold colours, strong lights and deep darks. My compliments and best wishes in 2008.

Hi Didier

Fabulous "fireworks", well seen and excellently captured. Surely not something the normal human eye would see or that we are privileged to see on a regular basis. I am really looking forward to see this series of photographs. There is a promise of amazing images awaiting us.

Great work and TFS.

PS. With appreciation for all the other wonderful postings you shared with us throughout the year and may there still be loads and loads of the same for the coming year.

As we now have entered into the New Year...
may it open up more opportunities for you,
lead you unto the path of continued success,
happiness & good health.

Take time to enjoy God's creation and live life to the full.

A wonderful 2008 for YOU and your loved ones.
