Very common in parts of Thailanad where we last lived, they are often seen on the backs of waterbuffalo eating the insects. This guy has caught a fish and was quite eager to down it before anyone else came along! The distinctive orange colouration seen at breeding time is one of the easiest ways to identify this egret from the little, and chinese egrets which are similar size.

Great capture, you have good details here and although the back is a little over exposed it doesnt detract from the image as a whole. Well done and thanks for sharing.

The details are so good,in white usually the details are hot or very bright, you did an excellent work!
