Caterpillar are unique. They have lots of different anatomy. Thats the reason we have so many different butterflies. This one I found also interesting. Hope you enjoy and criticize. Thank you. |

Marcos, gostei de sua idéia de ter colocado uma folha atrás da lagarta verde para conseguir o contraste com a grama verde. Que lagarta mais charmosa, não. Nunca vi uma igual a essa. Parabéns!
Interesting Caterpillar love its defensive spikes. The image looks a little to soft and maybe the point of view is not one I would choose.

This spiny creature is a caterpillar of Catonephele sp. (Nymphalidae, Biblidinae), most probably C. numilia. These larvae feed mostly on Alchornea (Euphorbiaceae).
