Not sure why you keep these shots hidden away in your secret vault. It shows us you have many strings to the mighty bow that you wield my friend. The light warms my heart that there are longer days ahead for us to go out exlporing what mother nature has so kindly dealt us.

This is superb....All eight are following the parent apart from the one that is brave and having a look over his shoulder at you?!!..Its a perfect scene perfectly captured..
The lense lets your eye down slightly...But that by no means detracts from a wonderful scene of nature that you have portrayed so well here...11/10

You're right! We do need reminders of better weather to lift our spirits! And this is a perfect 'spirit reviver'! Who could resist such a cosy scene with the birds bathing in the golden sunlight ! The colours, the composition, the detail, the mood ... they all help to produce a warm glow!

Hi Paul, this is a lovely and refreshing image for this time of year and it certainly does inspire us to look forward to the next Spring. I very much like the soft warm glow of light on this and the Swan looks so proud of her 7 young Signets. It is charming with a lovely pov, nice focus and composition.

I am so glad you have gone back into your archives and shared this lovely photo of the swans with us. I like the mixture of different colours of the water, but the shade of gold is really spectacular. Splendid family scene, which just proof how wonderful mother nature is. The seven little swans looks so fluffy and are really cute. You can dig out these kinds of scenes more often. They are a pleasure to look at. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Paul,
The lighting and composition make this swan with cygnet brood a superb image. If this were taken with the light it wouldn't have been half as good. Lovely dark contrasting BG too.
This was well worth posting to brighten up the winter gloom.

Awwww! Lovely shot this my friend, very heart-warming, spring is indeed on the way, at last, and this represents the new lease of life and new warmth really nicely - lovely backlit colours and composition, great shot! Do you find that at the 300mm end the lens tends to be a little soft? I'm finding that - this shot doesn't look too soft though?
