Dag Paul,

Werkelijk hij of zij poseert mooi voor uw lens.
Juist met de gedraaide kop waardoor het oog zo mooi is waar te nemen.
Ik denk dat u daar niet iedere dag de kans toe krijgt om zo een mooi beeld te schieten.
Ik zal deze zomer me eens meer moeten bezig houden met mij 400mm lens.

Another great bird shot. Nice OOF background good sharpness. I like the compo but maybe it would look a little bit better with more tree trunk and smaller empty space on the right.

Hi Paul,
very nice capture of this Woodpecker.
You've captured its characteristic colours and patterns really well and with great vibrence and clarity.
DOF is slightly too shallow seeing parts of the woodpecker are slightly OOF however a larger aperture would be compromising with the shutter speed and a slightly shallow DOF is way better than a blurred photo! :)
Very good BG that is very clean and non-distracting.
Great sharpness and clarity.

A wonderful woodpecker in a wonderful pose. Lovely colors - the red, white and black are beautiful. Very good details of the face, wings and plummage. He shows up well against the nice blurred background.
