We have a saying in Turkish, which may be roughly translated as "I have created those small mountains", well, your Crested Tit has that look in its eye and stand! No need to stress the point that the present capture is -as usual- perfect from all viewpoints of technical and aesthetic photography.

You bird posts always amazed me. It is already hard enough to capture them in brilliant sharpness and details, but you always have something extra like the perch here. Awesome and stunning against the clear blue sky. I like looking at this so please allow me to add this to my personal theme.

Hi Ivan,
Excellent capture handheld using the tele, and from 6 meters as well. Even with a 40% crop, very good detail.

My eye went to his right foot immediately and saw he was grasping this tree with it's bundles of three needles...a descriptor of the tree and also a fine place for a lightweight to grasp. And just now after writing I read that you too did notice the pine bundles...see? Great minds think alike:-) I say that in all humility of course. A fine capture Ivan..You and your wife are a Blessed couple!

Subject of the picture and picture of this subject are fantastic and perfectly done. First of all it is the impressiveness of the POV. It is highest. Second, it is sharpness and details of all even tiny objects. Third, it is terrific exactness and beautifulness of the natural colours. Especially O like coloration of the bird legs. Superb job. Hi Ivan, I like the purity and simplicity of this composition. Small birds are very special and this photo encapsulates so much that i like to see in them. The first time i noticed the use of a convertor (1.4 Canon) and the camera shows it is a excellent one in the right hands. Inspiring. TFS. Murray.
