A great shot of a glacial ribbon lake (sometimes called finger lakes in the US). The shot also shows a superb example of a U shaped valley. A one time the lakes would have had straight edges and been one lake - material deposited by streams entering the lakes have created deltas - cutting the lake in half and on the near lake you can see it is going to happen on the left shore.

Glacier is a beautiful park. Your image only support that supposition. Nice panoramic image showing its amazing grandeur.

Otra muy bella postal la que hoy nos presentas aqui de este hermoso valle. Debe ser agradable estar en esos lugares.
Beautiful view of the valley Evelynn. There's really nothing I can say about the composition except that I like it. It has beautiful perspective. I did do a WS to adjust the levels some to really make it stand out. Hope you like it.

What a beautiful shot of this magnificent valley. Love the composition and the colours are very natural. Looks very peaceful and serene, wish I could be there myself. Your landscapes photos are a thing of beauty. TFS
Jeee...i wonder why they call this Swiftcurrent Valley :)))
But it really does look breathtaking! The steep mountainsides create a rather narrow corridor for the wind to pass and therefore it speed is most likely very high.
The view here is gorgeous and the depth you managed to include is terrific! I really like the lake down there, too...it does "break" the colors and reflect the blue sky superbly.
Did you try any panoramas from up here?
Anyway, nice work and looking forward for your next postings, too!
Bravo and TFS

This is a beautiful mountain scenery. The point of view you have chosen and the rocky foreground give the spectator the impression to dive into the valley. This is very well seen and made. I also appreciate the wild aspect of that valley and the mountains, a place I would like to visit and to walk through.

A stunningly beautiful Alpine view. The lake is intriguing. It almost looks as if it falls away at the lower right corner.
The green is so deep and rich,I find that when I see greenery in photos this deep into the winter,I see it with a different eye,and it looks more lush, rich and green.
I would love to be sitting on that ridge taking in that POV.
This would have been the perfect setting for the 10-20mm lens. You got a wide space, some FG interest and height all in one composition.
The view is spectacular and shows the beauty of Glacier perfectly. Is this also a glacial lake? The color seems darker than expected. Maybe its the reflection that causes this.
