Brahminy Kite -
This was taken towards the end of November 2007 prior to my assignment in Sakhalin.
The Brahminy Kites are endemic to Malaysia and this one was in its element over the padi fields at Sungai Balang in Johore state.

Brahminy Kite's distribution is larger than Malaysia, actually from India to Australia and I don't think that this juvenile looks very different than colorful adult brahminy kite.
Anyway, very nice photo, TFS.
