Euplagia quadripunctaria (Poda). Arctiidae. Se encuentra en gran parte de Europa, del litoral a la zona sub-Alpina. Frecuenta los lugares húmedos donde su oruga es polífaga. Los adultos libas los eupatorios a pleno día. En el sur de Inglaterra y en el norte de Bretaña, las alas posteriores son la mayoría de veces amarillas (F. lutescens Staudinger) en lugar de rojo. Es migratoria, pero a cortas distancias.
Nunca me es fácil fotografiar a esta especie ya que es bastante esquiva.

Exceptional image of this Jersey Tiger!
Very sharp with heaps of detail and excellent clarity.
Nice colours and even lighting.
I like the shallow DOF.
