Hello Sky,
A well attempted shot of the white-breatsed Wood Wren. The details on the bird is quite appealing and well brought out.Catchlight would have added on to the beuty of the shot. Nevertheless a good effort and a good composition.

The general impression of this bird's plumage is very good though I would have preferred its eye in sharp focus, Sky.
All the same, it is new species from Costa Rica for me and I enjoyed looking at it.
Thanks for sharing it and regards.

Hello Sky,
A fine capture of an attractive species of Wood-wren, the White Breasted. Though a little soft, the wren stands out well against the delicate colours of the natural BG in a beautiful artistic composition.
Thanks for sharing this attractive image,
Ivan

Hi Sky,
Wonderful shot of this Wood-Wren in a fine pose. Awesome colours, details and clarity on its plumage and the lighting and exposure levels are perfectly handled. I like this natural surrounding and the excellent POV to portray it. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

Peter

Sky,
This is a beautiful shot that has brought out the best of the bird....
What I love is the natural light that you don't seem to have played around with...
Very well done!

Well seen and captured in a great setting, the branches and leaves provide some great natural framing.
Nice color and exposure, interesting comp too :)
Well done,

Hi Sky,
It has been a while since I have had time to vet the bird ID's on TN.
Not Henicorhina leucosticta, for a whole lot of reasons. The first is the range. The leucosticta does not range to the south of the Guanacaste Cordillera in CR. The others reasons are all morphological. First, the tail is much too long for genus Henicorhina. Also, the Henicorhina would have a black-white scalloping on the ear coverts, and it would have a black moustachial as well as having dark brown and buff transverse striping on the primaries and secondaries, as well as dorsally on the very short tail.
So, what is it?
This is Campylorhynchus rufinucha (Rufous-naped Wren).
