Hi Hernan,
This is very impressive! A spider as background is something that I haven't seen often :) Details, composition and DOF are amazing! Your homemade macro seen to works great. Well seen!

Hi Hernan
Ha, I just love your photos the moment that Helios homemade macro lens of yours come into play. You have captured this 'poor' little male orb spider in wonderful scale etched against the monstrous image of the female in the BG. She almost looks like something out of a Hollywood scary movie and I like how the translator used the word "voluminous" to describe her outrageous size compared to his dainty frame.
Although this little guy is only a couple of millimetres in size you have captured excellent details of the tiny spider. The exposure was well controlled and the composition & POF is great with the huge image of the 'threatening' female forming the complimentary background.
Remember, if this guy does not dance or vibrate at the right rhythm when approaching the female to mate, she will kill and eat him. Talk about being consumed by a woman's love. I am so glad that for punitive measure my wife just sends me to the dog box instead (chuckle).
Very well done MF and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Hallo Hernan
I am most thankful that I am not a female spider. I don't think I am very fond of the idea that I might want to kill and eat my dear old hubby whenever things does not go smoothly. And what will happen if I start to miss him afterwards?
Very nice and interesting details captured on the body. Great close up on the spider with the outstanding clarity on the web, and your background is really impressive and very "unusual". A very surprising image with much to appreciate. Great macro work with your homemade equipment. Thanks for sharing and have a most enjoyable day.

Hello Hernán,
This is a fine capture of small male Argiope argentata from an excellent POV and with great sharpness. The OoF large female in the BG makes this special.
Superb skill with your macro to produce a great image and thanks for sharing it,
Ivan
