Hello friends in TN.

This butterfly was captured during late evening at the time when it was looking for a place to sleep. Due to the less active movement, I have managed to capture this little one in flight.

Bellissima cattura in volo, interessante e fantasiosa composizione che sfrutta la poca luce e dà rilievo solo al primo piano, molto belli i colori. Grazie e complimenti. Ciao Maurizio

Hello Jusni,

This is so unusual! We frequently see photographs of butterflies and moths at rest, but rarely in flight!

Despite the movement, you have kept the shot sharp. I like the fact that you have included its resting spot in the frame as well.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

A stunning shot Jusni...this one took some good timing and advance preparing...Well noted but the image is the thing which stick out so well...

hello Jusni

superb shot of this butterfly in flight, excellent POV and framing
i love where the butterfly and the flower are placed in the image,

Hi Jusni,
Outstanding shot of this beautiful Psyche (Leptosia nina). This small butterfly is very difficult to capture and your effort is really commendable. The violet flowers look very attractive and the dark BG works well here. Very neat and sharp image with good use of flash lighting and freezing of action. Excellent POV and composition. Kudos.

Hi Jusni,
You froze this flying Psyche very well. Can see clearly that the butterfly is homing to the sweet flowers. Great pov and composition. TFS,

What a shot!Beautiful darkness, but perfect sharpness!

A pleasant in-flight macro shot Jusni, a rare scene indeed my friend, you've managed to freeze the movement of the small b.fly with an exposure time of 1/60 secs. Very good indeed!

Salam Jusni,

Hello Jusni,
Very skillful late evening capture of this butterfly approaching the beautiful blue flower. Both are very nicely in focus and details sharp. Strange to see a butterfly flying in late evening but I expect they may like the cool of the evening in Malaysia.
TFS and regards, Ulla

Hi Jusni,

Stunning shot of the type normally seen in magazines and book and taken on very expensive and complicated equipment. I've tried on many occasions to capture butterflies in flight, but their flight patterns are just too unpredictable. You have done so well here.

Hello Jusni,
Well, I have tracked you down whilst you are on TN.Those meanies over on TL.
I do not spend time here as I do not have the equipment. I am getting an SLR as soon as I return to the US.I have really been hampered by my point and shoot on this trip. I have needed a polariser in the worst way.

What a fab shot this is.I would imagine capturing butterflies in flight is very difficult. The colours and detail are amazing. This is magazine quality work, Jusni.
Take care, joni
