[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I like a lot the combination of wild Tulips and rough sea. - was a very windy day and salt water spray flying far from the water line. It is amazing to see how these plants manage to survive there - although as you can see they are very low.

Tulipa Agenensis Sharonensis

This is the commonest tulipa in Israel and Lebanon, growing in diverse habitats. It is characterized by 3 longer sharp outer perianth lobes and 3 smaller wider inner perianth lobes; the black patch at the base of the inner side of the perianth lobe normally have a yellow stripe at its edge. Its morphological borders with Tulipa systola are not clear and one can see a gradual change between the 2 species. The coastal populations of T. agenensis were described as ssp. sharonensis. At the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens dozens of plants are grown in the grounds and in containers without any irrigation. They bloom every year.

Great photo! I really like the composition with the red tulips in the foreground and the sea in the background. It's great and really beautiful!

Très belle image, qui replace l'espèce dans son habitat naturel. Les associations de couleurs sont magnifiques.
L'image est très intéressante. En Provence, Tulipa agenensis n'a pas la même écologie : c'est une espèce de prairie humide, qui ne pousse pas en bordure de littoral.

You present us a wonderful, at the same time dramatic and delicate picture. I like those red spots contrasting with the blurred blue and turquoise blue.

From my point of view, the composition lacks a bit of balance, the surface allocated to the sea is a bit too important and I would make it a panoramic view. I'll try to show what I mean in a workshop.

A composição desta foto ficou realmente bem criatva e bonita, as flores vermelhas deram um toque a mais na fotografia, o fundo com o mar ficou esplendido e muito belo.
