Hi Harry,
this is a classic shot in every sense of the word as I have seen many that look so very similar over the years.I like the blurred water and the look of concentration the bear has he is focused on what he is doing;as were you because the colour is spot-on and the details are many and best of all the point of view-classic!Thanks for this dynamic looking capture of a bear I would like to photo very much as well. Hi Harry, great action shot of this Grizzly fishing. 1/20th of a second worked well to catch the motion of the water, yet it was still quick enough to catch the bear in a good sharp pose. The bear is very well positioned within the shot with excellent exposure on the bear giving us excellent colour and great sharp detail.
Thanks, John

It is nice of you to explain the shot Harry. It is easy to just shoot a bear standing idle in the forest, but this was well worth the many tries on film. The only thing I do not like about this, is that it makes me want to go to Alaska and try seeing a similar sight, and I don't know when that could happen haha.
Very professional photo!!

Hi Harry,
It's a beautiful photo. f/16 gave you a very good DOF, and with 1/20 sec you got the motion of the water which looks beautiful with the still main subject. You're lucky that he managed to keep still for a short while. Exposure control, focus, sharpness, POV and composition are very nice. Good work!

Hello Harry,
You can't have it all:-). You got a beautiful fall here due to the 1/20 shutter speed. And the bear is sharp enough...a rhetorical question whether the bear should be sharper or not.
I imagine seeing its head moving all the time:-)
Awesome image!

Compositie is fantastisch, scherpte ook.
