Hello again everyone :)

Touching base again with my TN friends that i miss more and more every day i'm not here... I hope all of you are well :)

2 days ago i just had to go out and clear my head a bit and even though the conditions weren't all that good, i took a couple of friends with me and went to some nearby lakes in hope for some interesting shots.
Initially it was overcast, but just as the sun was about to set, the clouds "broke" and allowed some beautiful colors to appear over the horizon. Immediately i searched for some interesting place to take some photos and didn't manage to find anything very "geometrical" for a FG element so i had to settle for this blend of old and new reeds, in order not to miss the interesting colors and reflection that didn't last too long.

You can find some more photos from here on my website.

Tech-talk: Due to the rather big and dark clouds that gave a good atmosphere to the shot, i wanted to enhance that feeling here, so i used the Cokin P121S (3 stop) ND grad filter on top of the polarizer to balance the exposure and darken the top of the sky a bit more.

Hope you'll like it :)

Hi Horia.
I hope your Sigma 70-300 will gift you (and us) many nice shots too and it will be live long time.

Your shorter Sigma lens in your hands already gifts true masterpieces. I like excellent technique of shooting. Exposure parameters have brought amazing result. Cloudy sky and its reflection in the water are reflected so skillfully as impressively. POV and composition of the shot, delicate colours and crisp sharpness of static objects are superb. Bravo, my friend, and TFS.
Alexei.

Hello Horia,
Wonderful low view of this beautiful sunset. I love the colours and the smooth surface of the water reflecting the sun. I like the cloud formations and the grasses in the foreground too. Well done!
Many thanks and kind regards, Ulla

Hello Horia.
Long time no see!!
But this gem was well worth the wait for..You have framed and captured the moment superbly..Great forethought to use the heavy grad to add such a wonderful depth of mood to the sky..It also has exposed the sun perfectly.
Top Work all round.
All the Best
Paul

Hello Horia,
It is moody and a bit dark (in the good sense of the word) photo.
Beautiful!
Well done.

Hallo Horia
A very beautiful visual and artistic presentation of this lovely but cold looking sunset. A great image, which I liked a lot, and which in my opinion conveys the depth and cold of winter. I might be wrong with my observation of your current season. Maybe it is just because we are entering winter one of these days that I observe the chill in the image. This is a beautiful shot. The water looks so quiet and the reflection in the water is beautiful. Thank you very much for sharing.
Kind regards
Anna

Hi Horia,
great atmosphere you captured there.
The blue colors are very beautiful.
Very nice POV

Great shot!! The low shutter speed has given the water a silky feeling, which I like very much. Awsum lighting and great composition. Thanks for sharing.

Buna Horia,
Superb, pot spune un peisaj specific Horia Bogdan, compozitie de nota 10, culori si detalii excelent. Cel mai mult imi place cum ai reusit sa redai tonurile de gri.Bravo!!

A landscape of mystery and some desolation, it looks almost like fall! It is a beautiful picture, Horia, with a great composition once again. I love the line of grass in the middle left of the frame, leading to the horizon. The nice curved line of the clouds over the sun add movement and reflect perfectly in the lake. Too bad there is no "lake" category in the menu of TN! Thanks!

Hi Horia,
always nice to see a landscape from you my friend, and this one is a true beauty. The almost metallic tones and colours you've caught here are stunning. Classic composition and spot on exposure - very nice indeed, great work as ever!
