This is a female Impala. Captured in Kruger National Park , South Africa.
Specific about this image is the background; there's a flora foreground and a blurred 'far away' background in the background.
You can spot more female Impalas in my Kruger National Park travelogue as well as males and other species of Kruger antelopes whether alone or in group.
Thanks a lot for your previous critiques and I do hope you will enjoy this image.

Photographed from the car, through an open window, 6 kg supported through car door. No beanbag. Engine off(no airco pff enjoying the tropical heat:-). Image Stabilizer on.

Imported image into Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. Cropped and adjusted colours, tones. Further editing in Adobe Photoshop CS3.

Hola Annick, muy bonita la composición, el desenfoque del fondo le da profundidad y tiene una luz perfecta. La expresión del Impala me gusta es de atención y a la vez tranquilidad. Un saludo

what a beautiful shot! :-) such a pretty impala, excellently captured in its natural habitat with great colors and
wonderful light. terrific pov with a fantastic eye-contact.
well done & best wishes, thor.

Hi Annick,
This is a beautiful impalascape, lol! I like those natural colors, exposure, great eye contact and lovely model. I would have some problem with this tropical heat I guess. I don't really like extreme temperature, especially hot ones as I think I'm more a Nordic person... I’m glad though that it’s now spring here but I anticipate those heat waves we have in summer… Superb post. Thanks,

Onbegrijpelijk hoe je steeds die perfect natuurlijke kleuren in je foto's hebt. Ook de scherpte is als altijd weer formidabel. Geweldig mooie diepte in de foto. Van dit soort foto's kan ik eindeloos genieten. Bedankt.

Dr. Doolittle calling again.: )
I like the way the impala turned the head towards you, offering great eye contact. Your POV managed to capture the interesting markings on both the head and the rump.
A realy beauty indeed.
Congratulations, Annick, and TFS. : )

Hi Annick

She's in beautiful condition and you have captured her well. She obviously is so aware of you.

These Impala's are such delicate little animals and one can only really appreciate these antelope once you have sat silently and observed them from close range. Those amazingly thin legs, the incredible facial features, the softness of their presence, those fluffy little tails, etc.

I like this shot and how you have chose to utilise a vertical composition for it.

Well done and TFS.

Hi Annick,

Beautiful shot of this Impala, stunning detail with excellent eye contact, framing and composition all perfect, just beautiful, all the best,

Cheers Rick :)

Hi Annick,

What a wonderful image of this lovely Impala.
Great vertical composition and wonderfully framed.
Love the softness, although the image is pin sharp, the beautiful colors, color contrast, clarity and light.
A real beauty. TFS!!!

Kindest regards, Harry
