This one is for Haraprasan for all his excellent macros, really useful critiques and also for his nice dedication to me :-)

There were loads of these Zebra Spiders yesterday as a result of a beautiful sunny day. I took a trip to my local lake where I found many, many critters including 5 different species of butterfly (Large White, Brimstone, Orange Tip, Comma and Peacock) and the highlights: A pair of Kestrels and an Alderfly laying eggs :-)

This Zebra Spider shot was taken in early April on another sunny day.

I hope you like it!

Surely Harparasan will love this dedication Joe, such an excellent frontal capture of a minute spider in fine focus and detail, my friend. I believe it is one of those jumping spiders, as the huge eyes indicate. Thank you for sharing this beauty Joe.
Cheers,
Mehmet

Hello Joey, where was it standing, this red ocre ground is real nice as a background for your little monster! You are now taking pictures face to face with spiders, really outstanding! It's asif it's looking like through the lens into our eyes, incredible. Thank you!

Hi Joe,

Wonderful macro of this spider who seems to be wearing sunglasses! Those eyes are amazing. Fantastic head on pov. I love the hairs standing up on the top of his head. Your usual excellent details and textures. He's kind of scary looking.

Hi Joe,nothing to say, this macro is perfect under allc roners of view, and the details of the eyes are very very impressive,i dream to take a pic like that one day..ehehe..my best compliments,Luciano

this is a very contrasty photo, you have great focus on the eyes and nice catch light in the eyes, but I almost think I would like to see a little great DOF, but that is just my opinion and taste

Hi Joe,

Another one from your DR Who series, this one has at least four eyes and beautiful hairy front legs to strangle all humans that confront him. Again, impressive macro with good DOF, POV, composition, lighting and sharpness of details. Great work.
