Hello Haraprasan!
I am not a specialist in Lepidoptera, but in Europe we have very similar species belonging to genus Orgyia, of course belonging to family Lymatriidae.
Very nice, artistic picture! The caterpillar looks simply great! :)
All the best from Lodz,
Radomir

Hello Haraprasan,
Very nice composition. Good POV and sharpness. The caterpillar stands out very well against the dark background. Beautiful colours. Do not worry, I am sure it will survive, at least if it not come back to close to gardener :-).
Cheers,
Mariki

Unusual yes but artistically as well as notably well done and beyond. There is a sheer beuaty to this image...it somehow shows differing forms of nature combined in a dance....very nicely composed HP

Hi Haraprasan,
this looks very much like a Vapourer Moth caterpillar. I looks very similar to this one except in colouring.
Anyway a very nice capture of this impressive caterpillar!
Very finely detailed and super-sharp.
Great lighting and colours.
An excellent BG.
Well done!!!

Joe

Hello HP, I am not sure about the ID. For a moment I thought there is something on the ground. But after looking at it realised the little fella. Good view and sharp picture. Ganesh

The rich growth of spiky hair on this caterpillar's delicate looking body have been captured very well, HP.
Crawling across a fallen flower, the subject looks quite pretty.
The use of tripod certainly makes a difference in terms of overall quality of the image.
TFS and regards.

Hello Haraprasan,
Yes this is certainly a Lymantriid caterpillar, looking similar to the European Varpourer moth (Orgyia sp.).
Nice capture of it with fine sharpness and taken from a good POV on the composite flower.
Thanks for sharing this fine image,
Ivan

Hello Haraprasan,
This is a fine and interesting insect, and this great reproduction do full justice!
Impressive details, as the hair comes out pin sharp, DoF spot on isolating the subject well...
Effective point of view and a fine composition!
