Thank you for your critiques on my previous Bulbul.
Hope you like this one…

This is a
Periderm.
The shadow and light play is generated by the evening light and the tree’s branches.
It is photographed in Kruger’s main restcamp Skukuza along the Sabie river.
I do not have the identification.

Hello Annick,
Interesting image of the bark, or periderm of an unknown tree. The shadow of the branch is a nice addition to the composition but the bark itself has a texture that looks a bit like the skin of an elephant after a clean bath.
The whole effect is almost abstract and an unusual posting.
TFS it!
Ivan

Hi Annick

Lovely image of the bark. Good use of light and texture here - rather like Markus' work.

Hi Annick!

I like this abstract picture very much. It looks more like a painting and this corresponds to the way I like taking pictures. The shapes and the colours are very pleasant and let the door to the free interpretation wide open.

Kind regards

Markus
