Hi Annick,
This is a very interesting photo. First of all I do find the colors of this reptile amaising. I do appreciate the way you used DOF having a blurry background as well as the forground. It looks very nice as the subject is entierly clear. Not the least shadows and lights are doing an excelent patern well suited to the vivid colors of the animal. You did a really good photo.
Congratulations,
Cristian

Hello Annick!
I really believe that not only this picture could be published in books! Your pictures have not only very good quality but - eg. in this case - present interesting objects with very nice POVs. And the POV is one of my favourite elements of this photo - low, almost from lizard's level :)
Bravo also for sharpness and details, in the shadow it was not easy to keep, I believe.
TFS and best regards,
Radomir

Good morning Annick!
This is superb! :-D
You must have been lying flat on your belly to have captured this super-low POV :-)
Excellent composition that must have been quite hard to get right (at least for me!) :-D
Very nice colours and great light.
Superb DOF.
A nice dedication to Bayram!
Well done!

Hi Annick
As a herp lover myself, i can always appreciate such posts - that show the real beauty of these amazing animals: the reptiles.
This is really one of them: a great post, a wonderful dedication to another reptile passionate here and surely a splendid shot!
I think the exposure was the key here really - you had to get as much details and possible and to retain all those lovely colors both from the bright parts and the shaded areas...and you mastered it!
Also the low POV works great here, while the shallow DOF creates a very harmonious depth effect.
Truly superb job, my friend!
Bravo and TFS

I am speechless, Annick. One can only say that much about something beautiful, but what does one say about perfection?Only have goosebumps, and feel small.
Respect!
