As they say, "Love is blind" and fortunately so for these toads.

Wow, you pushed the level on this one. I am overwhelmed by the amazing sharpness, the wonderful colour palette, and the perfect exposure and that with a fill-in flash. A truly remarkable in-your-face image.

Are they toadily in love or what? Okay, bad pun, but I really like the texture here and the macro. I feel as if I touch my screen, I'll be touching the toads. The colors are brilliant, the focus sharp, and the exposure perfect, and as far as exposure...well, you can't improve on that either - it's really wonderful.

I like it! I had 7 kids:-) Very fine close in Joey and true to colour as well. I am a very thankful father though. One marriage of 42 years and 7 kids but only one had warts.

Another fascinating close-up with your Converter, Joe.
The details are unbelievably sharp and that includes the eyes of the mating toads.
The colours too are so rich they make the subjects look very charming.

Outstanding shot of this mating toads with such amazing sharp details on their skin. Superb use of flash lighting and it has brought out the details so clearly. Those eyes look huge and gorgeous and I like the feel of contentment in them. Excellent POV and composition. Kudos.

A textbook close up to demonstrate an axial amplexus (that is, the male embracing the female under the armpits) in the toads Joe, more visible here from the previous one since the toads are out of water. This of course is not a "mating" as some say, but still a breeding activity. Very good my friend.

Hello Joey my friend, this sure is a fine couple. I wish I could carry Love on my back like that ;-)) I think these toads can travel long distances in this position, it is truly amazing. An excellent portrait of a pair of Common Toads in the process of spreading their genes. The technical features are excellent and the use of flash and composition just right. A great illustration of how the two sexes differ in size.
