Hi Annick

A lovely composition with good colour and excellent detail and isolation from the BG. Well observed and captured.

James

Hello Annick,
Lovely pose of the big bird stands on the rock!
the image is so sharp with great details and colour
many thanks for the sharing
cheers
Tony

Colorful, isn't it? Excellent detail and sharpness. I love the spots on him - if I look long enough, I get dizzy (though some may say I'm that way naturally...). The composition is great and the soft BG helps the subject become more prominent....

Annick,

Well, that's a bird I see for the very first time. It's got incredible plumage and colors. Your shot shows it very nicely and clearly. I also like the way you composed this picture. Very nice work Annick. TFS

Best Regards,

Martin

Hi Annick

These busy birds are normally rather difficult to capture as they hardly ever stand still and their heads keep on bobbing up and down as they forage for food. So, it is actually a tricky affair to get an opportunity for a good capture and either patience or good fortune needs to play a big role.

You did well with this one as it seems like it was standing on the rock to survey the surroundings thus giving you the right moment. I like the in focus grasses right behind the "tarentaal" basically forming a 'unit' with the bird as opposed to the OOF and isolated grass in the BG. Good detail and fine composition.

Well done and TFS.

Loot

Hoi Annick,
Geweldig deze tarentaal, ze zijn nog sneller dan water, een heel mooi plaatje. En je kunt de details heel goed zien.

Groetjes
Vivian
