Red-footed falcon stays in that position to minimize the force exerted by the wind to his body. Notice his wings, and how he holds the post due to strong wind.

Emre merhaba , fotoğraf güzel olmuş , bilgilerde yararlı , henüz Aladoğanların büyük grupları gelmedi , bekliyoruz .

Lovely shot and ver sharp! I like the few colours, the only more distinct is the red colour on the bill and feet. The rest more or less in grey scale with hard contrast. The position as you tell stress that the bird meet hard winds in an open country.

The Red-footed falcon is a rare spring to autumn visitor in Sweden with only one known breeding.
